One tool I have used to support my journey with mental health is my breath š«
We donāt often think about our breathing. It is just one of those incredible things our body does without our needing to control it. But it can be a powerful way to calm your nervous system and feel present wherever you are.Ā
Next time you feel a little overwhelmed or nervous or angry or frustrated, notice how your breath has changed. From slow and steady to quick and shallow. Take a few moments to breath. Place your feet on the floor. Maybe your hands over your heart. Close your eyes and breath. I promise youāll feel better even after just a minute or two.Ā
